A new generation of peer trainers is starting its journey! From June 6th to 11th, the first training of the “Peers for peace” project took place in Arad, Romania, with the great support of our member organisation Ofensiva Tinerilor and the pedagogical expertise of CEJI - A Jewish Contrbution To An Inclusive Europe.
What is Humanitas' vision?
Humanitas is a medium size non-governmental and non-profit organisation, founded in the year 2000. Its mission is to raise awareness of global interdependencies, to promote social inclusion and global responsibility, and to encourage change of attitudes towards global issues such as development, north-south perspectives, poverty, migration, over-consumption, environmental sustainability etc. Humanitas carries out various activities that are thematically and methodologically related to the concept of Global Education (GE). It is a leading organization in Slovenia working in the field of GE.
We are pleased to announce that the Erasmus+ project « Training Theatre in Global Education » of our members Humanitas (SI) and Fórum Társulat (HU) was approved by the Slovenian national agency! This project will combine global education and forum theater using EPTO’s anti-discrimination methods (« A WORLD OF DIFFERENCETM » programme) and peer training approach.
