logo-provisoire.jpgThanks to the financial support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union, EPTO and partner organisations 4motion (LU), the Universal Education Foundation (NL), Ofensiva Tinerilor (RO), AMO Reliance (BE) and the European Institute of Education and Social Policy (EIEPS - FR) unite forces to launch an ambitious and exciting new project aimed at radically improving the lives of school students by developing their appreciation of their fundamental inner diversity: Potential4Life.

Potential for Life is an innovative educational programme where young people help each other discover their unique potential and learning preferences. It is designed in a cascade peer-education model: youth workers, train older secondary school students (aged 16-18) who then support their younger peers (aged 12-16).

Through the metaphor of a journey, student experience activities that enables them to discover their own and others' ways of learning (metacognitive abilities), supports their feeling of being empowered to better participate in their learning processes and environments and ultimate contributes to (re)gain motivation, self-determination and resilience.

Potential for Life’s pilot project was developed in 2016-2017 thanks to the financial support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union by EPTO and partner organisations 4motion (LU), the Universal Education Foundation (NL), Ofensiva Tinerilor (RO), AMO Reliance (BE) and the European Institute of Education and Social Policy (EIEPS - FR).

It included 4 components:

  1. development of a prototype training programme,
  2. piloted in 3 countries – Belgium, Romania and Luxemburg (available in 5 languages),
  3. accompanied by a research-action process and
  4. producing digital and game formats that support the face-to-face activities in schools.

You can find the results of the action-research carried out by EIEPS here
