MEMBERSHIP REGULATIONS

Registration
To become an EPTO member, there are 3 steps to take:
- Fill the online form
- Get a positive answer from the membership committee
- Pay the annual fee on time.
These 3 steps are mandatory, in this order.
If one is missing, the organisation/individual won’t be considered an EPTO member.
The list of current member organisations is there: http://epto.org/organisations
There is no public list of individual members.
Annual fee
Each year in March, organisations and individual members receive an invoice to pay their annual fee.
This fee has to be paid within one month.
After one month, EPTO will send a reminder. If the fee is not paid within one month after reception of this reminder, the membership will be cancelled.
No refund of fees will be made after payment.
The amount of the fee is based on the member’s country zone.

For Zone 1 Countries, the fee is 200 € for organisations and 30 € for individuals.

For Zone 2 Countries, the fee is 150 € for organisations and 20 € for individuals.
Zone 1 Countries are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
Zone 2 Countries are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldavia, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine.
For new members who would have completed their membership application form after September 1st of the current year, the amount of the first year's fee can be divided by 2.
Renewal
The membership is automatically renewed every year.
The membership application form only needs to be completed once.
In case of changes, such as the contact person, address or any other important contact information, the member organisation must notify the EPTO team at: membership@epto.org
Termination
If a member wants to cancel its EPTO membership, he/she must notify EPTO by email before the current year’s 31st of December at: membership@epto.org
EPTO may terminate a membership if:
- the member does not pay his/her membership on time
- the member does not respect EPTO's values.
- the member's activities do not reflect EPTO's fields of action in peer education.
Upon termination, the member is automatically deleted from the member's private Facebook group and EPTO members’ mailing-list.
Its login to connect to the member’s area of the EPTO website is also deleted.
He/she can no longer access to information reserved for members.
EPTO stops relaying its news on its social networks.
