1-day PeaceJam training for youth workers
On March 6th, EPTO delivered its 1st PeaceJam training for teachers and youth workers. The training was held in Visé (BE) and gathered youth workers from various local organisations.
Participants are now ready to implement the Compassion in Action PeaceJam curriculum with young people. They will pilot the educational programme and get their youth prepared to attend the next PeaceJam conference in November where they will meet with the Nobel peace prize laureate Shirin Ebadi.
Compassion in Action is a PeaceJam's powerful curriculum that is designed to create inclusive communities through positive youth development. It is for young people ages 12-18, with the goal of providing an antidote to radicalization, xenophobia, and discrimination facing our communities.
The next training for teachers and youth workers will be held on June 2nd in Brussels. Click here for more information.
